3 Quick Reminders For Worship Leaders This Christmas

Only a few more days left until Christmas!

I know things are crazy for you right now. And in the business of all the things you need to get done before this weekend, it's easy to forget a few KEY things this Christmas season.

Here are 3 quick reminders for worship leaders this Christmas:

1 | This is only a SEASON

Be encouraged! You've made it this far! You're almost there! This is one of the busiest seasons of the year and, to be honest, maybe you feel exhausted, stressed out, and like giving up right now.

But, let me assure you, this is only a SEASON. After next week, things are going to be quiet for a little while. You'll have a chance to rest (should you choose to take that opportunity - and you SHOULD choose to take that opportunity).

So, press in for just a little bit longer. You're almost there. This season's almost over.

2 | There will be people who come to your service this week who only come to church once a year

In your final preparation, don't forget that there are going to be a ton of people who come to your church this weekend that only come once a year.

You can do one of two things: You can choose to IGNORE them OR you can choose to ENGAGE them.

If you want to learn how to engage people this Christmas who only come to church once a year, check out the FREE devotional I put together called "7 Days To Leading Christmas Worship Well."

3 | #christmassongsareworshipsongs

Don't forget that Christmas songs are worship songs. Hopefully, you've already taken some steps to teach your church that this season. But, remember that truth for YOURSELF too!

It means that even in your preparation, when you're trying to learn that Christmas carol with a million chords in it, you can see it as a moment of worship! It means that you aren't just leading your church in a fun, nostalgic time of singing during your Christmas services - you are doing what you've always done: leading them in WORSHIP.
