I challenge you to learn someone's story tomorrow.

Start a conversation with someone that you don't know very well tomorrow before you lead worship. Aim to learn their story. It doesn't have to be their whole story but seek to learn one thing about their life.

Then, use what you learn to fuel how you lead worship that morning.

Did they just lose their job? Keep that in mind when you're singing about God's faithfulness.

Did they just get a job promotion? Remember that when you're singing about the goodness of God.

Whatever their story is - these are the people you're leading. Everyone has a story and their story affects the way they worship. As worship leaders, it's important to know these stories so we can address them and be mindful of them while we're leading.
