Saturday Challenge - Write It Down!
I challenge you to write something down today that will help you lead worship tomorrow.
There are tons of things that worship leaders should be writing down: prayers, speaking transitions, lyrics, etc. The power in writing these things down is that it helps you FORMULATE the idea, REMEMBER it, and BELIEVE it.
Think about that in the context of your worship leading tomorrow. What do you need to FORMULATE? Is it a speaking transition? Is it a prayer? Is it a specific element you want to incorporate into your time of worship? Writing it down helps you better craft the idea.
Or maybe you need to REMEMBER something while you're leading tomorrow. Is it the lyrics to a song? Is it a specific way you want to communicate something? Writing it down is scientifically proven to help you remember things.
Or perhaps you just need to BELIEVE something as you lead tomorrow. Is it that you aren't leading by your own power but, instead trusting in the Holy Spirit to work through you? Is it a specific promise of God that you're singing about tomorrow? When you write things down, you make it concrete and tangible. It's no longer just in your head but you've committed to it.
Before you lead tomorrow, pick ONE of these things: something you need to FORMULATE, something you need to REMEMBER, or something you need to BELIEVE. Write it down!
