It's difficult to find new worship team members. Maybe you've had the same people on your team for the last 5 years. There's nothing wrong with that but it's good to get other people involved. So how do we do it?
The key is relationships with people in your church. Start talking to people. What if your goal as a worship leader became to not only lead people in musical worship but allow them the opportunity to use whatever gifts God has given them to worship him.
Start conversations with people about what they're good at. Then connect them to the appropriate ministry in your church. In these conversations I guarantee you will find someone who says they are gifted musically. There's your opportunity! Set up a time to meet with them or invite them to worship rehearsal.
The only way we're going to find new team members is to build relationships, find out how God gifted those people, and then ASK!
