This is really the industry standard in capos. I've used many other styles of capo but I always come back to the kyser. In terms of ease of use and affordability it just can't be beat.
2 | Snark tuner
This is like the kyser capo of the tuner world - the industry standard! I've gone through many tuners in my guitar playing career and found that the snark is simply the best. For around $10 it's sturdy, simple, and easy to read. What more could you want in a tuner?
3 | Pads
If you've never experimented with layering pads under your worship leading, do yourself a favor and try it now! Just google "Karl Verkade pads" and download the free tracks that he's generously provided to worship leaders. These pads will add a different dimension to your worship leading.
4 | Ernie Ball volume pedal
This relates to the last tool. I use this volume pedal as a method for running my pads. It requires a simple set up of: a device to play the pads (iPad, iPod, your phone) and a 3.5mm to 1/4 cable to connect your device to this pedal. This allows you a hands-free way to fade your pads in and out. Super simple! Super effective!
5 | Worshiptogether.com
This is hands down my favorite website for finding new worship songs. They keep it updated weekly with new songs and other free resources. Each week they put out interviews with artist about the songs they've written and then the artist plays an acoustic version.
