I'm not the worship team leader but... my team needs to change. (Video)
"I'm not the leader of my worship team but... things are horrible and I want them to change. What can I do as a non-leader?"
I get this question frequently from worship leaders in the Leading Worship Well community.
Some of you are stuck on a worship team that needs to change but you feel like you don't have the authority to implement the change. Team members show up late on Sunday morning. They aren't prepared when they lead. Your worship team leader doesn't send out the song list until Saturday night.
What can you do to inspire change on your team when you aren't the leader?
Well, over on the Leading Worship Well YouTube channel, I just released a video called "I'm not the worship team leader but... my team needs to change."
In the video, you'll learn 5 practical things you can do to start influencing your team for the better. Once you do these 5 things, you will not only inspire change in your worship team but also honor God in the process.
It's not about usurping your current worship team leader's position and taking it over. It's about using the position God has already given you to inspire change in your team.
