New Chord Wednesday - D - 10 x 0 11 10 x

Guitar chord d unique voicing

This is a nice thin way to play a D. I find it works best for rhythmic strumming in verses.

It works well as a 1 chord in the key of D or a 5 chord in the key of G.

Not to mention it's movable: move it to the 3rd fret for a G chord or the 5th fret for an A chord.

I first picked up this chord from the song Economy by John Mark Mcmillan and have been using it ever since.
