Saturday Challenge - Go on the Journey

Go on the worship leading journey

Today I challenge you to go on the journey.

Any time you lead worship, you're taking people on a journey through the songs you choose to lead and the way you choose to lead them.

As leaders, it's important for us to go on the journey ourselves before we try to take others along with us. Think of a tour guide taking you around a city you've never been to before. They know ever alley and mom and pop shop and, therefore, are able to lead you in a way that someone unfamiliar with the city might not be able to.

The same is true when we lead worship. If we want to lead people well, we've got to have some idea where we're going.

What's this look like? Take 30-40 minutes today to run through your set list. Not to musically practice the songs but to practice LEADING the songs. Take note of where you feel like God is leading you in your personal worship time and use that information to lead your church tomorrow!

Leaders who lead well know where they're headed!
