Saturday Challenge - Pray For Tomorrow

Connect the dots when leading worship

I challenge you to pray for tomorrow. Not one of those short 20 second prayers but a long 15-20-30 minute prayer.

Go in a room by yourself and shut the door. Maybe even leave your phone in another room (gasp!).

Then pray. Pray for the Spirit of God to move. Pray that your worship would be honoring to God. Tell God you surrender your plans to His plan tomorrow because His way is the best way. Pray that God's Spirit would speak through you. Pray that new people would find their way to church tomorrow - people who need to hear what Jesus has done.

Then pray specifically. Pray for the single mom who sits in the front row. Pray for the uninterested student who always has their head buried in their cellphone. Pray for the father who just lost his job and is searching for wisdom. Picture the people in your church and pray specifically for them... even that lady who always complains it's too loud.

Sunday worship starts now and it starts with your intercession for the people of your church.
