I challenge you to prepare to pray tomorrow.
If anything, just repeat that phrase "prepare to pray" 10 times as fast as you can to work on your diction :)
So many of us are focused on our talking transitions. What are we going to say in between songs? What are we going to say leading into the bridge?
We get so focused on that that, when it comes to prayer, we think we'll just figure it out in the moment.
Let's take it one step further this weekend. Yes, prepare your talking transitions. But also prepare to pray.
Think about the connections you can make in prayer between the songs you just sang. Did you sing Oceans? Ask that God would help you trust him more. Are you about to sing Reckless Love? Ask that God would reveal some new characteristic of his love for you.
This isn't to say that you won't be made aware of new needs in the moment but good leaders always have a plan and adapt as necessary.
Have a plan. Prepare to pray.
