Saturday Challenge - Rest Before You Lead Worship On Easter

Saturday Challenge - Rest Before You Lead Worship On Easter

I challenge you to find some time to rest before you lead worship tomorrow!

I know it feels like there are still a million things you need to get done. You've got to check in with your volunteers. You're worried how the livestream is going to hold up. You should probably run through your songs one more time. You've got some speaking transitions you need to iron out. There's a lot!

But... it's going to get finished. You're going to lead well tomorrow because you've put in the work and you care about your church.

So, the best thing you can do right now to set yourself up for success tomorrow is rest.

Sure, run through your set list one more time and think about your transitions - but then trust that you've put in the work to lead well.

Then, take some time to be refreshed so that you are well-rested and ready to go tomorrow.

Before you lead tomorrow, carve out some time in your schedule to simply be. Maybe read through the Easter story - not for the sake of coming up with something to say when you lead worship tomorrow but just to rest in the good news that Jesus has died for your sins and risen again so that you can have new life.
