Why You Should Over-Communicate
"Vision has a short shelf-life." - Louie Giglio
Good leaders communicate vision. The problem is vision has a short shelf-life. People forget it. Therefore, it bears repeating. Over and over and over and over again.
In our minds, as people who are constantly thinking about the vision, it can seem repetitive to communicate it week in and week out. It seems like we're unnecessarily over-communicating. But things that are truly important need to be repeated frequently.
What are your expectations for your team? Why do you lead people in worship? These are questions we need to constantly answer and put in front of our worship teams.
People forget vision. Repeat it often.
