At your next rehearsal, have your team walk through the worship space and pray over the seats.
This is something my team has been doing for the past two years and it has had a tremendous impact on our prayer time. There's something amazing about going seat to seat and praying over the specific person who will be sitting there during your Sunday morning gathering.
It really helps your team visualize who they're praying for. As I did this week in and week out, I found my prayers getting much more specific. I could visualize the people I was praying for and pray specifically for their needs. No more blanket statement prayers but I was actually interceding for people's time of corporate worship.
Also, this teaches your team the importance of prayer. For my team, this exercise takes about 15 minutes. For a lot of people that is a really long time to pray but the act of walking chair by chair helps focus your team and those fifteen minutes end up seeming like it's not quite long enough.
