Saturday Challenge - Stop Trying to do What Isn't Your Job

Stop trying to fulfill what isn't your worship leader responsibility

I challenge you to give up a responsibility that you've been trying to fulfill that wasn't your job in the first place.

Earlier this week, we took a look at what your job isn't as a worship leader. You aren't a cheerleader. You aren't a rock star. It isn't your responsibility to "make things happen."

So stop trying to fulfill responsibilities that you'll inevitably fail at. Instead, embrace and focus on the things that are your job: leading songs, providing the opportunity to respond, and seeking direction from God.

Before you lead tomorrow, emotionally surrender your need to fulfill roles that weren't your responsibility in the first place.
