Saturday Challenge - Use Scripture In A Speaking Transition

I challenge you to use Scripture in a speaking transition tomorrow.

One of the most common questions when it comes to leading worship is: "What do I say between songs?" And that's a valid question for people who want to improve their worship leading. In fact, I did a whole 5 part video series on that exact topic over on the LWW YouTube channel. It's important!

But the misunderstanding is that worship leaders sometimes feel the need to magically come up with the perfect thing to say every Sunday - like they need to have something original to say or some ground breaking theological insight. And those moments do happen from time to time.

But the truth is, it's okay to simply repeat the Word of God. It's okay to literally take what God has said and repeat it to your church for their benefit. In fact, it's encouraged!

So, this Sunday, if you're struggling to come up with the perfect thing to say during a speaking transition, find a piece of Scripture that relates to a truth your singing about or your pastor is preaching on and simply read it to your church. Allow God to speak through his Word.

Before you lead tomorrow, identify a speaking transition where you can use Scripture.
