Worship Leader Accountability Partner

Accountability Partner for worship leaders

This is Andrew. He's my friend, fellow worship leader, and accountability partner.

I used to work with Andrew and we would eat lunch together every Tuesday and talk about ministry. Once I started my new job as a full-time worship pastor I didn't get to see Andrew as often and I missed our time together. So we made the decision that our relationship was important enough that we would take turns driving the 30 minute commute each way once a month to check in with each other, pour into each other, and keep each other accountable.

Get you an Andrew. An accountability partner. Someone you can share the struggles and joys of ministry with. Someone outside of your church. Someone you trust so you can talk honestly and openly.

ACTION: Send a text to a worship leader you know and ask them if they can meet. It doesn't have to start out being a regular thing but I guarantee, when you do it once and start talking honestly and openly, how you lead will be impacted significantly. And you will have no other choice but to schedule another time to meet with them.

Who is keeping you accountable?
